This is so cool! It's so simple yet so unique and interesting! I love his view on how he takes something from nature and just borrows it and then gives it back but he seems to get so much joy from making these instruments and playing them! Thanks for sharing!
I totally loved this. The fact that his instruments are handmade and out of ice is such a cool and refreshing concept. The tone of his instruments sounded really great and he seemed so happy to be playing his music on his own unique instrument. It is definitely a really cool 21CM article.
I've seen things like this before! Have you heard of the group that makes music with vegetables? I also like how he views it as something to give back to nature. Thanks for sharing!
I, for one, have actually never seen anything like this! I know we have a class (I think it's a winter term or a seminar?) where people create their own instruments - but I've never actually thought it was possible to make actual instruments out of ice. Definitely 21CM and very interesting!

ReplyDeleteYah I've heard of the veggie orchestra. There is also a string orchestra that plays instruments made out of ice, like the guy in the article.
